  1. Writing time takes a hit once your first piece of work is published. The social platforms become paramount in order to promote your work and that will include following more blogs, tweeting and Facebook as well as Linkedin. Your second work is important in order to bring your name forward but it will be slower to get out than the first and that includes when the book is published by the traditional method.
    Your idea of dedicating an hour a day is good if you can find the time but your reminder that a page a day is manageable as it gives you a book a year is timely.
